Privacy notice
Effective from 1 October 2026.
Darts League keeps the match days, results and league table of a darts league among friends. This notice explains what data we keep about you, why, and what your rights are.
Who handles the data
The data is handled by the league admin, who runs the app. Send any privacy question or request straight to them.
What we keep
Your name and email address, entered by the league admin when they add you as a player, and optionally the address of a profile picture. Which league you play in, the match days and the results of your matches. Nothing else.
Signing in with Google
Google handles the sign-in. From Google we receive only your name, your email address and whether that address is verified. We never see your password. At sign-in we only check whether your email address is on the player list.
What we use it for
To let you sign in and see the league's results, the table and your own statistics. The other players in your league see your name and your results, only the league admin sees your email address. We send no newsletters, we do not sell or pass on your data, and there are no ads or analytics.
Legal basis
The legal basis is legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)): the data is needed to run the league and keep its results.
Cookies
Only cookies the app needs to work. The sign-in session for up to 30 days (authjs.session-token), two short-lived cookies that keep the sign-in secure (authjs.csrf-token, authjs.callback-url), and the chosen language (NEXT_LOCALE) and the last chosen league (league) for a year. Your browser's local storage remembers the light or dark theme. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.
Who has technical access
The app runs on Vercel's servers, the database is at Neon, and Google handles the sign-in. These providers process the data on our behalf. All three are US companies, so the data may leave the European Union, under the safeguards the EU has approved. Vercel also keeps your IP address in its server logs for a short time.
How long we keep it
As long as you are in the league. On request, the league admin corrects or deletes your data.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or to restrict its use, and you can object to its processing. Write to the league admin to do so. If you feel your rights have been breached, you can complain to the Hungarian data protection authority (NAIH, naih.hu).
